We had a small ledge built up with brick on the sides of the front porch to reduce the amount of visible concrete on the sides. We figured it would look a little bit nicer this way.

90% bricked... and the start of a wall

Scaffolding removed you can see the brick a little better. I still think the west side of the brick needs its acid bath but they're pretty much finished with the brick and only have the stonework left on the front.

Concrete and brick (yes, brick) updates

The driveway has been framed out and the drainage lip trimmed down (to prevent backs from going out of alignment pulling into the driveway) and now we're just waiting for the garage side of the house to get bricked to try and pour the driveway before winter sets in.
